Zach earned a bachelor degree from the University of Montana School of Journalism, where he earned national recognition for published work, before graduating with honors.  Zach returned to the University of Montana for his legal education, and graduated from UM School of Law with honors.  In law school, Zach was Articles Editor for the Montana Law Review and advanced to the American College of Trial Lawyers national championship competition.  After law school, Zach served as a law clerk to the Honorable Keith Strong, United States Magistrate Judge.  Zach and his wife Allison are the proud parents of two rascally young girls.
