JAMES A. BOWDITCH
was born in Tarrytown, New York, but spent the majority
of his childhood in Minnesota, graduating from North St. Paul
High School. In 1985, Jaymie moved to Bozeman, Montana, where he
attended Montana State University, graduating in 1990 with a
major in Business-Finance and a minor in Economics. Upon graduation, Jaymie moved to
Denver, Colorado. Jaymie’s career while in Denver included
working for Chatfield Dean Investment Bankers. In 1992, Jaymie
and his wife, Kristen, returned to Missoula, where Jaymie
attended law school and graduated in 1995. Kristen and Jaymie
have three children.
Jaymie is admitted to practice before state and federal courts
in Montana, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the Ninth Circuit. His primary areas of practice include real
estate transactions, tax, corporate general counsel
representation, probate, estate planning, gift and charitable
planning and commercial transactions. Representative clients
include the Montana Association of Realtors®,
First Security Bank of Missoula, First Interstate Bank, Sun Mountain Sports and Corpat,
Inc. (National/Alamo car rental franchisee in Montana, North
Dakota, Idaho and Wyoming). Jaymie holds a “BV” rating in the
Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Jaymie is the President of the Missoula Ski Education
Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for Opportunity
Resources.
Jaymie and his family are active outdoor enthusiasts, spending
their summers and winters boating, camping, hiking, fishing
and skiing.
